April Donaldson

April Donaldson is a breast cancer patient diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer at the height of the pandemic. She has been battling this awful disease for the past three years. She is an author, educator, and advocate for women's health. While going through her cancer treatment, she wrote a children's book for her seven-year-old son called "God Made Me Strong" to encourage him and other children in families dealing with life's hardships that with God's help there is joy and brighter days ahead. April was also a speaker on behalf of the CDC Foundation's Early Detection Saves Lives campaign.
