All they see is a smile
It is because that is what I want everyone to see
Because my smile hides all my feelings
Because faking a smile is easier than having to explain why I’m sad
Because behind my smile lies my true pain and fear
The physical pain I hide
And the fear I live with
To keep up with my act I smile to everyone
My smile is what gets me through everyday in life
I might not be ok
But I always have to smile
