Heath M Rakes

Heath Rakes is a teacher, researcher, and author living in Portland, Oregon on Clackamas, Chinook, and Multnomah land. Their work focuses on trans, disabled, and queer activist writing and intersectional social justice. They are an Assistant Professor of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies & Queer Studies and an active member of their union, United Academics of Oregon State University.
