I am a Third Culture Indian American. I was born in Chennai, India, raised in the Sultanate of Oman, and now live in Dallas, TX. My husband and I are parents to a 19-year-old son and a 15-year-old daughter. We are Christians, and we never realized how challenging it would be to raise kids of Indian origin in the United States while also helping them to form their unique identity as Christian Indian Americans. Life in the buckle of the Bible belt is complicated! Parenting is complicated. Immigrant parenting is very complicated. I am a graduate of Dallas Seminary, and I call myself a bridge builder! My life revolves around the intersections of Faith, Culture & Community.
