Darius Ajai Frasure

Darius Ajai Frasure, Professor of English at Mountain View College in Dallas, Texas, and 2016 Minnie Stephens Piper/DCCCD Excellence in Teaching award winner, is a proud graduate of Paul Quinn College, Luther Rice Seminary, and National University. As an educator, mentor, writer and musician, he works relentlessly to nurture the literary arts and education community, primarily in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, as well as in other states across the nation. His poetry appears in many literary journals and select readings are on youtube. He has one spoken word album, Spoken Pieces (2010), and two collections of poetry: stained glass medusa (2015), and of stone and rope (2019).
